BookWalker has announced that light novel author Fujino Omori, the creator of fantasy-comedy series Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? will be their special guest at Anime Expo 2017 on July 1-4, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This will be the first North American convention appearance for this best-selling light novel author.

When asked for his thoughts on his upcoming visit to AX 2017, Omori said, “When I first got the offer (to go to Anime Expo) from BookWalker, I thought, ‘Yes! I can go to Anime Expo!’ and quickly accepted. I’m really looking forward to meeting all of my fans.”

BookWalker (AX Booth #206) will be hosting a spotlight panel on Sunday, July 2 (panel time and location to be announced later) as well as signing sessions on all days of the show.

The signing sessions will be free, but will require a ticket for entry to the line and to get the signing board.
